🔍 Researchers have unveiled a groundbreaking framework tailored for accountability advocates and practitioners. Born out of the SPARK program, this framework offers a structured approach to interpreting government responses to citizen-led accountability initiatives. By unpacking diverse government reactions into categories such as responsiveness and accountable responsiveness (RRA), it equips advocates with the tools needed to navigate complex landscapes and make informed decisions about their advocacy strategies. This framework not only facilitates a deeper understanding of government behavior but also empowers advocates to drive meaningful change. With its emphasis on monitoring, evaluating, and learning (MEL), it fosters evidence-based adaptive programming, ensuring that advocacy efforts are effective and responsive to the evolving needs of marginalized communities.
