Attracting and hiring high performing Salesforce sales professionals is hard 😑 I regularly speak to Leaders from Salesforce partners who say “We are looking for top Sales people who have strong relationships with AE’s at Salesforce”.. but when I ask: “Why would someone who is performing well with another partner, by utilising their relationships at Saleforce, want to leave their current role to join here?”… it often takes the hiring manager by surprise.. There of course are reasons Salespeople may want to leave one role for another, like: 📍A better delivery team and more support through sales cycles 📍Better brand and positioning in market 📍Larger deal sizes and opportunities 📍Better career opportunities and progression 📍Higher pay, commission and benefits 📍Mentors to learn from But if you are hiring for a Salesforce sales role (or any role for that matter), don’t just think about what you need from them.. really think about what they can gain from joining you. 🚨 🚨 Longer post alert 🚨 🚨 Just arrived in Manhattan to meet with Jamie Wilkinson, to go over the State of the Union for our U.S. business here at Cloud4Solutions , I am reflecting on our last month. In recruitment, as well as any other profession, hours can blend into days, days can blend into months, months can blend into quarters, and the wheel keeps spinning. It is good to sit back and reflect on the wins/losses, celebrate the wins, and look for areas of improvement where we could have done better. Over the past month, we have seen a major uptick in the Salesforce hiring market. Personally, I have brought on five new clients, activated over fifty candidates, and are speaking with a multitude of other companies, who are looking to add both delivery and Sales resources. It looks like things are starting to get back to normal. Finding a job in the ecosystem the past eighteen months has been tough, but it looks like there is light at the end of the tunnel!
