Changing norms of work and life? But is that a good thing for the productivity of our society? https://lnkd.in/gY3zdC-r I have been watching these amusing videos but it got me thinking about the pros and cons of a society that starts to draw very strict boundaries between work and life. While so many of us have found it healthy to draw these lines and protect our wellness, health and family needs, I started to remember that the best jobs I had provided me with the motivation to do more when the situation demanded and approach my work as a passion and not a just a duty. I worked weekends when I knew the situation demanded it and my best bosses prioritized my life and health. We just had fun working hard and GSD. There is a happy mutual give and take between employers and employees which makes it an inclusive environment with high belonging and ownership. The burden is certainly on the employer to create the culture, but we all have a societal responsibility to enhance the productivity to keep our nation on an innovative path of growth for centuries to come.
