Wonderful. But....just the fact that all serology research even CONSIDERS 'hemolysis' (the impact, or not, of hemolysis) in their investigation of the analysis of that serum should make everyone want to eliminate the 'hemolysis issue' - and it can be eliminated. Just use the GRAVITY-POC blood collection-method (described by Vein Access Technologies for venipuncture and POC blood collection) [found on STEM21cVA.com or in the book The Science Behind the Skill of Vein Access]. Gravity was NOT MY discovery. But applying GRAVITY to the method for collecting an UNCOMPROMISED (NON-HEMOLYZED, QUANTITY SUFFICIENT) sample of blood was MY discovery - my APPLYING science (STEM) to these procedures changed everything about POC blood collection. And it's simple. Who knew? Isaac Newton knew! It's simple, point down, make the lanced/pricked pad of the finger face the floor when cutting AND when collecting this sample of blood. You will not have to SQUEEZE, SQUEEZE, SQUEEZE. The patient will be ever so grateful, as well. P.S. A compromised sample of blood will yield a compromised result, in some way, shape or form - no matter how wonderful the analyzing TOOL is. The TOOL was never the problem-the TECHNIQUE was (is) the problem.
