The Growing Diverse Housing Developers program supports real estate developers across the country, particularly mission-aligned developers seeking to build affordable housing in underestimated communities. This assistance includes training, mentorship, and grant funds to help them grow their businesses and increase the availability of affordable housing in disinvested communities. The program is implemented by Capital Impact Partners , Low Income Investment Fund, Reinvestment Fund, and Raza Development Fund, all made possible by a $30 million grant from Wells Fargo. Hear from our Director of National Diverse Developers, Jeff Mosley, as he discusses the investments diverse developers are making in communities nationwide and why it is crucial to invest in their work: https://bit.ly/3W5Rq61 #GDHD, #affordablehousing #communityinvestment

3moBeing a housing developer does not require any formal academic credentials or licenses. It requires an entrepreneurial heart. But having actual relavent technical skills and credentials along with heart clearly is an advantage. Trained and/or licensed architects (armed with A.I. tools) - especially Black ones - would be better served by going the development route and availing themselves of all of the resources and assistance of Capital Impact Partners.
