New Post: Garth Brooks, Morgan Wallen, Taylor Swift & More Artists With Most Weeks at No. 1 on Top Country Albums Chart: Full List - https://lnkd.in/gH9vc-eY - Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at a Time logs its 51st week at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart (dated June 15), which ups Wallen’s career tally of weeks at No. 1 to 150 – a total topped by only one artist in the chart’s more than 60-year history. You can probably guess who it is, but we’re going to make you scroll through the list to find out for sure. Wallen’s achievement is especially impressive because he has amassed this hefty total of weeks at No. 1 in such a short amount of time: He first topped the chart on Aug. 15, 2020. Top Country Albums originated as Hot Country Albums in the Jan. 11, 1964 issue of Billboard. Johnny Cash’s Ring of Fire (The Best of Johnny Cash) headed the inaugural chart. The compilation was well-timed: “Ring of Fire” had headed Hot Country Songs for seven weeks the previous summer and had crossed over to reach the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100. The chart was named Hot Country LP’s from 1968 to 1984, when vinyl LPs were king. Twenty-one artists have logged 50 or more weeks at No. 1 on Top Country Albums. Male solo artists dominate, as you might expect, though three female solo artists have achieved the feat, as have two groups. (One of those groups is an all-female group.) Only one Black artist has amassed 50 or more weeks at No. 1, though that may change as country becomes more inclusive. Here’s a look at all artists who have topped Top Country Albums for 50 or more weeks. - #news #business #world -------------------------------------------------- Download: #Google #Font #Tester - https://lnkd.in/gKAZYbVN

Inside The Sound: EquaSonics understands that sometimes the most impactful music and sound design comes from taking risks. Guinness’s “Good Things Come to Those Who Wait” is a brilliant example of this approach. Jonathan Glazer’s masterpiece is a testament to bold creative choices. From the lo-fi Lynchian visuals to the abstract voice-over, every element is daring. However, it’s the pounding, pulsing soundtrack that holds everything together. The buzzy bass strings and relentless rhythm amplify the ad’s angsty, impatient tone, creating a piece that remains masterful over 20 years later. This spot showcases how risky decisions in music and sound design can lead to timeless, memorable advertisements. At EquaSonics, we strive to push the boundaries and create music and soundscapes that stand the test of time. #SoundDesign #EquaSonics #MusicInAdvertising #IconicAds #Guinness #JonathanGlazer #CreativeSound #FilmProduction https://lnkd.in/dBfH8b3

New Post: Queen, Taylor Swift, Michael Bublé and the Albums With the Most Weeks at No. 1 on Top Catalog Albums - https://lnkd.in/gj3uCNd3 - Taylor Swift’s Lover logs its 47th week at No. 1 on Billboard’s Catalog Albums chart this week (dated June 15), extending its record for the longest run by a female solo artist in the chart’s history. Lover eclipsed Adele’s debut album, 19, last month. Lover didn’t get all that much love (at least by Swift’s sky-high standards) when it was released. The album spent just one week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and was passed over for a Grammy nod for album of the year (though it did receive a Grammy nod for best pop vocal album). But the belated success of “Cruel Summer,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 for four weeks starting in October 2023, more than four years after the album’s release, has revived the album. The phenomenal success of the Eras Tour has also kept it high on the charts. The Catalog Albums chart ranks the week’s most popular catalog albums in the U.S. Catalog albums are titles that are older than 18 months old and have fallen below No. 100 on the Billboard 200 — or holiday albums in their second holiday season. The chart was introduced in Billboard in the issue dated May 25, 1991. For the first 18 years of Top Catalog Albums, catalog albums weren’t eligible to appear on the Billboard 200. That changed with the Dec. 5, 2009-dated chart, when catalog restrictions were lifted, turning the Billboard 200 into an all-inclusive list of the best-selling albums in the country, regardless of their age. (The adjustment came after Michael Jackson’s death in June 2009, which triggered a sales explosion for his catalog titles. Jackson’s catalog compilation Number Ones was the best-selling album in six of the first seven weeks following his death, yet was ineligible for Billboard’s flagship chart – marking the first time a catalog album had outsold the No. 1 album on the Billboard 200.) Starting with the issue dated Dec. 13, 2014, Billboard shifted from pure sales to a multi-factor consumption formula that also includes on-demand streaming and digital track sales. We’re going to count down the 17 albums with the longest runs at No. 1 on Catalog Albums from 1991 to the present. It’s an eclectic list, to say the least. It includes two Christmas albums, a film soundtrack and a remarkably wide range of music, including pop, traditional pop, rock, hard rock, R&B, rap, country and reggae. Eight of the albums on the list were released prior to the 1991 inception of the chart. Impressively, they made the list even though activity prior to the chart’s inception doesn’t count. Here are the albums with the longest runs at No. 1 on Catalog Albums from 1991 to the present. Each entry includes the album’s release date, the date the album first reached No. 1

Music for better focus? Over the last year, I have noticed that I can focus better and work faster when I listen to electronic music - like the one below. It's the latest gem I have discovered. This is especially true for longer stretches of focused work on texts or building a structure for a website. The music energizes me and carries me through the tasks. “The right choice of music, such as instrumental or ambient music, can help block out distractions, improve concentration, and maintain attention during study sessions.” This quote is from an article on "The Benefits of Listening to Music When Studying" published by the University of Maryland. I will put a link to it in the comments. Do you listen to music while you're working or studying? And if so, to what kind? Have a wonderful weekend - hopefully with good music! https://lnkd.in/e5qMvrRP #musicforwork #workbetter #tips #workbehavior #productivity

Advising leaders who pursue breakthrough results through strategic adaptability. Coach, Facilitator, Keynote Speaker
40 years ago 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, the game changed for ever! Torvill and Dean transformed Ice Dancing in this moment. It was a considerable risk to deviate from the traditional ballroom conventions. But during their preparations, they threw out the planned 42nd street-based routine and risked it all on: Being Different They had various problems to solve; for example, • The music lasted 4 mins 28 seconds • But the rules only allowed 4 mins 10 seconds • The rules said that the clock starts when the blades touch the ice The famous kneeling (18 seconds of) "Snake Charming" start was exploiting a loophole to make the music work. Looking closely, you will see they keep their blades off the ice. The risks paid off. The nation and the world were in awe at what they just saw! So were the judges. As you look to your future and consider how to adapt: Don't ask, "How can I be better?" Ask, "How can I be different?" If the answer scares and challenges you, you are on the right path! #adaptability #strategy #No4thFloor
