Evans Kwabena Forson,Chairman and CEO @ Safe Save Ghana | Strategic Planning/Human Rights Advocate/Academia/Researcher
why President , should refrain from signing the Anti-LGBTQ+ Bill into law .There are several reasons. Firstly, it violates basic human rights and freedoms, including the right to privacy and freedom of expression. Enacting such legislation could lead to discrimination, harassment, and violence against LGBTQ+ individuals, exacerbating social divisions. Additionally, criminalizing LGBTQ+ identities could hinder efforts to combat HIV/AIDS and other public health challenges by driving marginalized communities underground and away from essential services. Instead, the government should focus on promoting equality, tolerance, and education to foster a more inclusive society that respects the rights and dignity of all its citizens.
