V0 → V2.1 Last month, we wrapped up a project that holds a special place in our history. Our OFF-Ride Capture Systems have come a long way. The first version—designed over six years ago—was born from a bold idea: “It has to do Slow-Mo!” Back then, it was a simple add-on to complement the ON-Board system. It didn’t have the advanced features we offer today, like internal cooling, heating, remote zoom, or integrated lighting. But it laid the foundation for everything Captomatic OFF-Ride cameras are today. Fast forward to now, and the content demands are on a whole new level. Our latest project upgraded one of our earliest installations to deliver: – Vertical and variable content options, perfect for modern platforms. – Higher resolution, because more pixels = more quality. – Integrated lighting and new camera angles, elevating the guest experience. The best part? We did it all with zero downtime. The older system continued running smoothly while the new one was installed, ensuring guests could still enjoy their ride memories without interruption. This project was also a tribute to the original prototypes and the incredible team behind them, who engineered, supported, and evolved them for over six years. And of course, an enormous appreciation goes to the amazing team at the park, who kept an eye on the system all these years. Here’s to innovation, resilience, and always moving forward! 🚀 🫡

Headlights Are Growing Brighter: Modern LED headlights are significantly brighter and more glaring than traditional halogen bulbs, creating dangerous driving conditions, lighting experts report. The newer lights produce an intense, concentrated beam that is bluer and more disorienting, particularly affecting older drivers. "Headlights are getting brighter, smaller and bluer. All three of those things increase a particular kind of glare. It's called discomfort glare," said Daniel Stern, chief editor of Driving Vision News. Read more of this story at Slashdot.

"Ultimately, the Earthworks SR117 is one of those mics that feels like it’s doing everything right, without being flashy about it. There’s an understated quality to the performance: no gimmicks, no unnecessary hype, it just sounds fantastic. And for the price, it delivers way, way more than you’d expect." — Headliner Magazine Read the full review: https://lnkd.in/erj6bvcQ #earthworksaudio #earthworksmicrophones

Seeing Through Windscreens: Did You Know? Raytec's 730-nanometer illuminators have the remarkable ability to enhance camera vision inside vehicles, even in bright, sunny locations like Arizona or Dubai. By emitting light at a specific wavelength, these illuminators can effectively reduce glare from the sun on the windscreen. The result? Clear, unobstructed views of the driver and passengers, regardless of the sunlight's intensity. #raytec #730nm #transport
