Couldnt agree more with this video I bumped into this morning. Ideas are a dime a dozen, it is the execution and the 'craftsmanship' of implementing ideas that makes the true difference. This is also the hardest thing to build within a team or a company - the culture and the values towards excellence, team work, ownership. But if you do manage to create this, if you hire outstanding talent with good team work, it will serve as the most defensible moat for the business. This doesnt mean that one shouldnt come up with good ideas; but it pays to remember that great ideas are going to account for perhaps 20% of the expected outcome.....the rest is all on good execution. #SetTheBarHigh #PassionForExcellence #Ownership #TeamWork

99% of strategic plans I see are missing this crucial element: A clear, compelling vision that inspires action. Most plans are full of SMART goals, KPIs and initiatives… But they lack a North Star. Something that captures the hearts of the team. Something that paints a vivid picture of the future. Something that answers "What are we really trying to accomplish?" Without that, a plan is just a glorified to-do list. I've seen this firsthand. The most effective plans start with the end in mind. They clarify the meaningful change the company wants to make. Then goals, metrics and tactics are reverse-engineered from there. Vision isn't fluff. It's your compass. Get that right, and the other pieces will fit into place.

🌟 It’s Okay Not to Be a Visionary Person🌟 In the workplace, we all have our unique strengths. Some people excel at creating innovative product ideas, while others shine in executing those ideas. Creativity manifests in many forms. For some, it's about envisioning groundbreaking products. For others, like myself, it's about finding creative ways to bring these products to life. 💡✨ I’ve come to realize that I’m the second type. It took time for me to accept that I won’t be the next Steve Jobs, and that’s perfectly fine. My strengths lie in initiating projects and ensuring that ideas don’t end up gathering dust in a drawer. Instead, I help them see the light of day, at least as an MVP concept. It’s often the case that highly creative individuals struggle to elaborate on their own ideas, ground them, and find the right angle to start. This is where I shine. My moment of magic happens when I brainstorm a plan, gather and onboard a team, and kick off all activities to make things happen. 🌟🚀 Understanding and embracing your role is crucial. Not everyone needs to be the visionary ( Kudos to all my creative visionary mentors Jean-Patrick Bisson , Jack FitzGerald , Germanas Latvaitis) .
