All kidding aside, we've been tracking clarity in Lake Tahoe for over 60 years in low-tech and high-tech ways. Low-tech is our friend, the Secchi disk. TERC has taken Secchi disk measurements for over 60 years on Lake Tahoe and documented the loss of over 30 feet of clarity! But we are starting to see those trends reverse.
