I'm paying attention to this one from strength and aging expert Joan Pagano! She explains how 'hand grip strength' is a biomarker of aging. "Studies have shown that grip strength is strongly correlated with cardiovascular health. In fact, a strong grip has been shown to be a better predictor of cardiovascular health than traditional measures like blood pressure and cholesterol levels." Joan provides a few great suggestions for building grip strength including resistance training and squeezing stress ball.
