1847 Holdings LLC (NYSE American:EFSH) has secured a $750,000 credit facility for its Wolo Manufacturing Corp. subsidiary. Wolo is a manufacturer and distributor of vehicle horns and safety products, and offers vehicle emergency and safety warning lights for cars, trucks, industrial equipment and emergency vehicles. Ellery W. Roberts, CEO of 1847, said securing the credit facility empowers Wolo with working capital to fulfill orders because of strong customer demand. “Furthermore, this facility strengthens Wolo’s liquidity and increases its financial flexibility, enabling it to grow its business without any equity dilution at either the 1847 or subsidiary level,” Roberts added. “With this enhanced credit capacity — combined with growing customer demand and easing of supply chain pressure — Wolo has the potential to increase its sales by 50% to 70% year over year in 2024.” #aftermarket #autoparts

so now CarShop UK is having a 'restructuring' of it's business. Car supermarkets are in a bit of a stirr at the minute and most seem to be giving the reason of supply of used cars. Main dealers always have a good supply due to pcp and warranty and repair business....but for a few years i have said if you had a good quality used car supermarket set up...coupled with a great workshop and fast fit arm...you could make it VERY profitable and successful. Look at Kwik-Fit for example...match it with a state-of-the-art 'dealer equipped' workshops and a car supermarket and i believe that it would work. it would be costly...but the VOLUME of business would pretty much ensure it's success. Every dealership workshop is ALWAYS busy... get the quality of work correct and competitive and transparent pricing...and it would be HUGE. ps..... just realised that I repeated by self...and in reverse..doh! apologies!

The concept at the moment seems to be the biggest groups shying away from the standalone Car Supermarket and focusing more on the Used Car offering from their existing sites. Is the rationale here that they don't understand the Car Supermarket business style ? or that the franchised dealer model needs Used cars to deliver profitability at each and every site and a separate brand and location removes the Used car focus at other locations ? or is it something else ?

We worked with the customer and engineering to develop the trailer specifications needed to reduce the weight of the trailer while maintaining the structural integrity required for the unique payload. Seeing how we worked through providing them a unique solution, they committed to buying half, if not all, of their trailers from us going forward.” Peak Trailer Group has been a partner and proud dealer of Wabash equipment since 2017. Throughout the past 7 years, they’ve worked alongside Wabash to develop solutions for numerous customers, each with their own unique problems to solve. “Companies can create similar-looking trailers and may offer price variances,” said Briggs, “but there’s one thing you can’t duplicate: personality and care.
