Earlier this week we announced that our team had joined The Portland Cement Association (PCA) to help pave the way to a low-carbon future. By working alongside America’s largest cement manufacturers, we will help remove barriers towards decarbonization and share knowledge on practical methods to achieving timely emissions reduction. We look forward to joining our partners CRH, Cemex, and TITAN Cement Group, and connecting with other members as we look towards decarbonizing cement by unlocking new local sources of low-carbon alternative materials through carbon capture and utilization. #Sustainability #Innovation #CircularEconomy #Cement #PCA

🌎 In the last six months, the United States has experienced 15 different billion-dollar climate disasters, according to a report from the National Centers for Environmental Information. The recently released Climate Resilience Game Changers Assessment identifies 28 critical technologies, management practices, and institutional and financial tools to address the need for climate resiliency while creating good-paying jobs, improving community well-being, and advancing environmental justice. This assessment emphasizes the need for technologies like Carbon Upcycling that create stronger, more resilient concrete while reducing the carbon footprint of this cornerstone material.
