Just out — Q1 2024 vehicle recall rankings are in: Brand Vehicles Recalled Ford 2.2M Stellantis 963K Honda 780K Toyota 685K Kia 652K GM 626K Hyundai 425K Mercedes-Benz 281K Subaru 228K *Tesla: 2.4M (mostly over-the-air updates) In total, there were 9.7 million vehicles recalled in the first quarter of 2024. These figures are derived from three months of NHTSA data, courtesy of the latest report by BizzyCar. It'd be interesting to see this stacked up relative to volume - raw numbers don't tell the whole story here.

The gap between the leader (Ford) and second place is astounding and I believe 2.2M is a pretty significant decrease for Ford from the last few years.

What’s that as a percentage of the vehicles they made? And how does that ratio relate to consumer sentiment on reliability and quality?

From a marketing perspective it would be great to see this in terms of what percentage of produced vehicles where recalled and broken down by year Car Dealership Guy.

Interesting to see Tesla at the top of the recall list, even with most being software updates. Are there any details on the specific issues with the other manufacturers? #CarRecalls #CarKnowledge
