US, May 2024 - Top 10 Car Models with the Most Speeding Tickets This Year 🏁 These stats are based on the percentage of drivers who have received at least one speeding ticket (US national average across all models is 8.3%). 1️⃣ Subaru BRZ - 23.9% (Nearly one-quarter have one or more speeding tickets on record.) 2️⃣ Hyundai Genesis Coupe - 21.9% 3️⃣ Volkswagen GTI - 18.8% 4️⃣ Chevy Cruze Limited - 17.9% 5️⃣ Nissan 350Z - 17.6% 6️⃣ Subaru WRX - 16.9% 7️⃣ Scion TC - 15.8% 8️⃣ Scion FRS - 15.2% 9️⃣ Chevy Malibu Limited - 14.5% 🔟 Toyota Yaris iA - 14.5% Interesting Highlights: - Tesla Model Y drivers have the lowest share of speeding tickets on record, at 2%. The Model Y has a speed assistance feature that warns drivers when they exceed a posted speed limit. - Foreign (non-US) cars represent eight of the 10 cars with the speediest drivers. Deliveries appear to be normalising again, for most brands. In October 2023, new car sales data from FCAI revealed that Australians have already exceeded one million (1,006,095) vehicle deliveries this year, setting a record. In 2022, this milestone wasn't reached until December.
