Did you know you can make TWICE the impact with a gift to Canine Companions® when you donate today? There is a great opportunity thanks to a $100,000 matching gift. That means a gift of $25 becomes $50 - providing TWO new service dog teams with new equipment. Supporting Canine Companions allows more people with disabilities, like me, to be matched - free of charge - with life-changing service dogs. I encourage you to give from the heart today! #LeadWithIndependence https://lnkd.in/gwuNf2Mp

A Special Gift That Should Be Treasured Children are gift from God, when they come into a family; the family experience happiness and joy that is unending. Take a look at our society today, parents don't have time to: ✅ Pray with their kids in the morning. ✅ Have a family heart to heart talk. ✅ Monitor their children academic progress. ✅ Watch educative programs or movies. ✅ Get to know their children' friends . ✅ Know their children's phobias, be it at home or school. What parents focus on now is "MONEY". Money is good, but it cannot buy your child's : 1.Prestige 2. Honour 3. Self-esteem 4. Self-confidence 5. Self-discipline 6. Mental Stability These angels are our treasure, let us shower them love and attention, so that our labour on them will not turn sour. How do you nurture your treasure? #ivymentalhealthhub #linkendinStorytellingChallengewithblessin
Crafting for you stories that never die/ Editor/ Publisher/ Blogger / Brand Communications Strategist
See what Johnny Drille wrote weeks after the birth of his new baby: "Six weeks ago today, we held in our arms our daughter for the first time. It’s hard to explain, but it’s the most miraculous thing I’ve ever known. Never felt a greater sense of purpose to protect and to nurture. Every day I pray to God to help me be the best father for our daughter, so help me, God. Dear @rimouuune I’m in awe of your strength. I’ve seen you go through real pain the last few months, but you stayed strong for our baby and for me. Been watching you take on motherhood with so much grace. Something more exciting about raising this child with you.” The couple welcomed the new baby, Amaris Esohe Ighodaro, 17th of November 2023. Congratulations 👏🎉

Such an important and thoughtful message, beautifully written …

Chatting about the op-ed I was writing for today's Irish Independent, really brought home to me how important it is to start talking about death with your loved ones. The concept of ‘building a conversational scaffold’, is to me a game changer - once you have started talking about death with someone you have something you can build on. Talking about this with two good friends of mine, they spoke of how at one’s mother, and the others fathers deathbed, that they didn't know whether they had permission to bring up the topic of death. ….. and so they never did. This for both of them is an abiding regret. So just start ….. The Irish Hospice Foundation Think Ahead resources will help access them https://lnkd.in/e89eAeww https://lnkd.in/e-A43BsG
