This afternoon Cadence presented a first-of-its-kind analysis in support of the effects of an integrated RPM solution on reducing total and hospital-associated cost for heart failure patients at the 2024 Technology and Heart Failure Conference. Heart failure patients who enrolled in Cadence’s remote monitoring program experienced improved adherence to GDMT– a life-saving treatment that improves the quality of lives for patients with heart failure – and a 52% reduction in the total cost of care. Dr. David I. Research was presented by Dr. Donna Ryan, of Pennington Biomedical Research Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana from the ‘…Calibrate telehealth program, including video visits plus asynchronous check-ins and messaging, uses GLP-1 medications and intensive lifestyle interventions, with one-on-one coaching and digital tracking and medical treatment provided by board-certified physicians.’ At one year ‘…there was an average weight loss of 16.2% of body weight, with results sustained up to 24 months…’ to 17.2% total weight loss. There were almost 13,000 subjects include in the study, from a total of 30,000 Calibrate members from across all 50 states. https://lnkd.in/eA6K8yrm
