Hello People, Today, I want to share something that's very important to all of us. As we all know, we only get one life, and it's up to us to make the most of it. But, let's be real, life can get tough sometimes. We all face personal and professional struggles that can leave us feeling lost and alone. But, here's the thing, we don't have to go through it alone, we have each other and I truly believe that supporting one another is the key to making a real difference in our lives and in the world around us. I know we all are busy, but I urge you to take a moment to think about how you can support someone around you. Whether it's a colleague, a friend, or a family member, we all need someone to lean on sometimes. By supporting each other, we can build confidence, improve mental health, and create a ripple effect of kindness that can spread far and wide. We may not be able to change the entire world, but we can change the world for someone around us. that's all that matters. So, let's make a conscious effort to support each other, every day, in every way we can. Let's be the change we want to see in the world, starting with the people around us. Thank you. Embracing the Journey: Unemployment and Mental Health 💼💭 Being unemployed can feel overwhelming at times, and it's okay to acknowledge that. The uncertainty, the constant job applications, and rejections can take a toll on your mental health. But I’ve learned that it's important to be kind to ourselves during these tough periods. 🌱 During this phase, I’ve come to realize that mental well-being is just as important as finding the next job. 🧠💡 Taking time to pause, reflect, and focus on personal growth has helped me remain hopeful. I’m learning new skills, staying connected with supportive people, and practicing self-care daily. 💪✨ If you’re also navigating through unemployment, know that you're not alone. 🤝 Let’s reach out, support each other, and grow through this journey. Together, we can turn this time into an opportunity for personal and professional development. 🌟 Feel free to connect if you’re open to sharing experiences or looking for encouragement. We’re all in this together. 💬💙 #MentalHealthMatters #Unemployment #GrowthMindset #SupportEachOther #StayStrong

Can you fight me? | A Conflict Junkie who enjoys contentious complex litigation? | I also founded sheriazote.com East & Central Africa's second largest legal repository | 🤺🥊🎯 ⚔️🔥
400 marks, an A and 7 years. In between sweat, blood and tears. After all this you are posted as an intern. Where you are underpaid. Where you are overworked. Where you are mistreated. Helpless, you end your life. The 400 marks doesn't count. The A doesn't count. The 5 years doesn't count. Folks some conflicts end this way. In despair. In pain. In grief. Here is how to minimize conflicts in a toxic work place:- 1. Set Boundaries: Protect your personal time and mental space by defining clear limits on tasks and interactions. 2. Document Everything: Keep detailed records of any negative behavior or issues for future reference. 3. Seek Support: Build a network of allies within and outside the workplace for emotional and professional guidance. 4. Focus on Self-Care: Prioritize your well-being with regular breaks, exercise, and relaxation. 5. Know When to Leave: If the environment continues to harm your mental health, consider planning an exit strategy. #conflictresolution #kuriaandcompanyadvocates

ATS Bot | Cos-Playing as a Recruiter | Strategic Talent Management | Building strategic hiring programs focused on hiring diverse talent
It's Mental Health Awareness month, and job seeking, coupled with the financial strife that comes with being unemployed, can be compounding on mental health. While I don't have the largest platform out there, I still have a decent network of folks on LinkedIn and I would like to spend the month of May highlighting those who are looking for work. So please tag your friends, message me - while I can't promise outcomes, I can at least do this. Send me a message with your resume/basic quals, what you are looking for and where and a short blurb about you (no more than a few sentences). Lets help others get back to work. #recruiterlife

📚 How to keep a social life without falling behind on studies... Your social life might be more important than your studies. 🤔 Think about it. You can’t pour from an empty cup, right? Yet, most working students sacrifice social time first. Big mistake. ❌ Socializing refuels you. Without it, burnout comes fast. 🔥 Here’s how to make time for your social life: → Don't treat socializing as an afterthought. Schedule it like you do with work or study. → Do use study groups to combine work and social time. → Don't say yes to every event. Focus on meaningful connections. → Do combine activities like studying while grabbing coffee. ☕ → Don't feel guilty for taking time to relax. Your career matters, but so does your mental health. Make room for both. #WorkLifeBalance #StudentLife #MentalHealthMatters #TimeManagement #BurnoutPrevention

ADHD Career Coach, Resume Writer & Speaker 🔋 Helping ADHDers find sustainable career paths and supporting them through the job search process
Job search burnout is real—especially for neurodivergent minds. Don’t forget: your mental health deserves AT LEAST as much care as your job search. Here are some mantras to help ground you as you navigate this journey: 👉 “I am more than my resume—my value exists simply because I am human, and it shines through in the love I share with my friends, family, and community.” 👉 "Even though I may not have found the right fit yet, I trust that my unique strengths and experiences will attract the right employer for me." 👉 "Rejection is not a reflection of my worth—it's just one step closer to finding the right opportunity for me." 👉 "I deserve patience, kindness, and self-compassion throughout this process. Progress, no matter how small, is still progress." 👉 "It's okay to take breaks and recharge—rest is a vital part of my success." #Neurodivergent #ADHD #GreenBannerGang
