There has been a MAJOR change announced for the Temporary Skills Shortage visa (482) in the Australian Federal Budget handed down last night on the 14th of May 2024. From 23 November 2024 TSS subclass 482 visa applicants will have the minimum amount of work experience required to be eligible for the visa reduced from 2 to 1 year if you hold relevant qualifications. People without relevant qualifications will still need to meet higher work experience requirements where applicable for certain occupations. This will make a big difference and mean that Australian employers will have a broader pool of applicants to choose from when they cannot fill positions from the Australian market. #482visas, #TSSvisas, #employersponsoredvisas
