Last week, I reviewed 100+ CVs and kept seeing the same mistake. (We're hiring a Marketing Manager at Codi and I've been screening the applicants) This is the mistake I've seen over and over again: → Listing job responsibilities but not including results. Not only is this repetitive, it doesn't prove anything. To stand out (and in this market, you do) SHOW what you have achieved. Here's what to do: ✅ For every job responsibility add a result. For example... ❌ I led the marketing department ✅ I grew the marketing department from X to Y and feedback from my line-reports was X ❌ I was responsible for social media marketing ✅ I increased our following across socials by X% with an average engagement rate of Y ❌ I was responsible for all email marketing ✅ I implemented X email marketing campaigns which generated Y leads ❌ I oversaw 10 marketing campaigns this year ✅ I was X% ahead of timelines for all marketing campaigns Don't just tell.
