They aim to transform society’s response so all can live in a world free from such abuse and exploitation. Their team is on a mission to end modern slavery by empowering, equipping and influencing others to bring about positive and transformational change. ➕ Empowering By empowering and supporting survivors through specialist services they can enable safe recovery and to develop resilient, independent lives. ➕ Equipping Identifying key slavery and exploitation issues, and equipping others with effective solutions through advice and training. ➕ Influencing Using their experience, research and survivor stories to influence society and push for change in legislation, policy, business practice and consumer choices. However, they cannot tackle modern slavery alone - can your organisation get involved? To achieve their vision they work with partners across business, government – local and central – and public services to help raise funds and awareness. Just like in previous years #Efacec invited three organisations to showcase their projects and invite our employees to donate 0.5% of their Personal Income Tax (IRS). Get to know more on how these organization help the communities: ✔️ Arrimo - intervenes with people and communities to eliminate poverty and social exclusion; ✔️ Associação Plano i – addresses current social issues such as inequality, discrimination, violence, exclusion and poverty; ✔️ ATACA ONGD – contributes to the development of children and young people in Mozambique and Guinea-Bissau through a team of volunteers and distance tutors. SLR Group's Commitment: Empowering Through Every Vote   In a time when global conflicts impact innocent lives, especially children's, SLR Group stands committed to making a difference. This year, our initiative took a unique turn: for every employee response in our "SLR Voice" survey, we pledged a donation, aligning our commitment to both employee engagement and social responsibility. This year, the sum was contributed to the work of UNICEF.   The outcome? Thanks to our team's active participation, we've collectively donated €5,000 to aid children in conflict zones.
