We fully agree with your statements! 🌍 Atlante is one of many companies in Europe that have already made substantial investments to accompany (and accelerate!) the transition towards modern zero emission vehicles. The investments made into EV charging infrastructure albeit massive are still small compared to the investments made by all major car OEMs to shift their production towards EVs. 🚀 The fundamental reason behind those investments are technological first and foremost: electrical vehicles are not only the future... they are also the present: the best available technology to move people (and soon goods) on roads. Best in many ways, although I personally favour their cleanness - both for local and global benefits. 🎯 The timetable set by the EU is in fact the major policy instrument to help the European car manufacturing industry catch up and then become world leaders also with this new technology. Why? Because we have a long ICE legacy - and without a clear regulatory framework, without clear deadlines it is virtually impossible to embrace a new technology while managing a legacy one. 😨 The rumoured requests about shifting next year's deadline is not only nonsense for the billions of investments already made, but it also shows a worrying lack of vision/ambition: we can't aspire to be world leaders if we surrender with more than a year to go. 💪 2025 will be a year of tremendous growth for the EV industry, finally with lots of exciting new BEV models from great European car-makers (and yes, also from Chinese ones - we live in a global village!). Let's focus on preparing for the massive change required (in our case: #moreplugs!!) with excitement and redoubling our respective commitments. 💚 ⚡

Workshop "Next Door" In late September, the Esgian Shipping team took a roadtrip down South to visit our first Automotive OEM clients - Volvo Cars and Polestar at the latter's cool headquarters just outside Gothenburg. While digital tools are great, nothing really beats F2F meetings right? Very good discussions on how we can further improve and refine our unique Esgian Shipping Suite for RoRo to meet the demands of global automotive OEMS.
