"Hi everyone! I'm Zainab, a passionate oncology/BMT nurse who loves exploring new horizons through travel nursing. 🌍 Since January 2024, I've had the opportunity to work in different states, learning new skills and adapting to diverse hospital cultures. Since the beginning of my nursing career, I've had the privilege of caring for amazing patients battling cancer. My experience in oncology has taught me the importance of empathy, resilience, and unwavering support for patients facing difficult diagnoses. 💕 Transitioning to travel nursing has been an adventure! Travel nursing has challenged me to become a more flexible and adaptable nurse, able to thrive in any environment. 🌱 Pursuing my MSN is a dream come true! 🎓 It's broadening my knowledge base and helping me provide even better care for my patients. I'm excited to continue learning and growing as a nurse, both in the classroom and at the bedside." #travelnursing #nursing #travelrn #nursingjobs

Over the years, the role of nurses has evolved significantly beyond traditional bedside practice. I had the privilege of attending a webinar organized by Nunsa National yesterday, where we explored the topic: "Beyond Bedside: Exploring Diverse Paths in Nursing." Mayowa Racheal Popoola a renowned Nurse career strategist shed light on various unconventional nursing specialties where we can expand our scope and excel . Yesterday, I concluded that: "Indeed, there is more to bedside". Nursing has transcended the era of solely focusing on the bedside; thanks to development over the years, the role of nurses has expanded to accommodate more diverse responsibilities. Today, we have occupational Nurses, Nurse researchers, travel nurses, Disability Nurses, Diabetes Specialist Nurses, Radiology Nurses, Military Nurses, and many more. Reflecting on the topic of the LinkedIn Nurses writing challenge, "Local Nurses, Global Change," I initially thought "local nurses" referred to those working in local towns. However, I discovered that "local nurses" actually refer to nurses working in healthcare facilities or hospitals within their communities, providing care to patients in their geographic vicinity. Local nurses serve the healthcare needs of their local population, unlike nurses who travel from other areas or work in international settings. Nurses worldwide are renowned for their significant impacts on healthcare. Numerous exceptional nurses are making a substantial impact globally, including Oluwadamilare Akingbade Mayowa Racheal Popoola Sarah Kumi Just to mention a few. Nurses should not be limited by their geographic location or training. Although we may be referred to as "Local nurses, "we can break into various aspects of nursing, dominating everywhere from bringing innovative ideas to creating substantial solutions and making our voices heard internationally. The saying "Never let your background put your back to the ground" resonates with nurses. Finding ourselves in a confined geographical location does not mean that's where our impact should end. We should strive to make impacts that reverberate both globally and internationally. We may be Local nurses, but the world should be prepared – we are going to make a global impact. It is time to rise to this reality! #IND #vitalwords #Linkedinwritingchallenge #internationalnursesweek #nurses

During the interview, she asked, “What is the hallmark of a 21st-century nurse?” I responded by emphasising the importance of building soft skills and value capacity for today's nurses. Get Involved in more leadership activities, and build your communication and administrative skills to navigate new challenges and trends.👏 Being called 21st-century nurse isn't just a title; it's my passion and mission. Clinical Nursing Is Never Slavery. I’m David Olayiwola O, a clinical Nurse and more, I came across this post sometimes ago on the green app and it’s inscription reads “ I’ll rather work 24/7 on web 3 than to be a slave as a nurse” Mostimes, you don’t have to bother the writer/author of a post like this, but it’s crucial to publicly acknowledge the inappropriateness and insensitivity of the post. As a dedicated student Nurse Coach and Committed Clinical Nurse, it’s expedient to verify this writing and judge this false permutation. The hallmark of Nursing is Competency and Confidence anything less will birthed a clownish expression which makes an individual live less than being a Nurse. This response is to help the hearer and reader of this post or related contents to discern what is real from fallacy. Nursing is a fertile ground full of potentials if you know your onions and identify your place. Don’t believe this lie it’s never true. Nursing as a profession is Great ! Nursing as a profession is Huge !! Nursing as a profession is Cardinal !!! Never stop your dream, Don’t compromise. #NursesonLinkedIn #RegisteredNurses #StudentNurses #NursesWorld
