Driving in silence?🚘🔇 How long do you think you could last❓ We are so accustomed to constant stimulation that when we have a moment of silence to be with ourselves we often look for some way to fill the void.😬 This is a good practice for connecting to the present moment.👍 You will find yourself paying closer attention to the route you drive, and what you see along the way. 🧐 You may also go inside your own head to think something through or gain clarity during your commute.🧠 You don’t need to do it every day, but try aiming for radio silence once a week. Pay attention to what you notice with this change in your routine. Beyond that…consider mixing up what you normally do. One radio station one day, a custom playlist the next, a podcast, an audio book. There are many options. The point is to change up your routine and let silence be an option every now and then.
