⏩The success of Capacity's Access Fast Track Programme for #highlyskilled #jobseekers with #refugee or #migrant backgrounds is dependant on many different factors, including our cooperation with various partner institutions. ⏩By working with #volunteers from our #partner companies, we are able to offer our participants resources in addition to our programme, including networking opportunities and one-on-one coaching to improve their job search strategies. At the same time, we provide partners with access to our talent pool to help them recruit talent for their workforce. ⏩Are you an organisation or company looking to increase the diversity of your workforce with highly skilled and qualified candidates? We would love to hear from you! #Capacity #switzerland #coaching #volunteering #recruitment #jobmarket

It was fantastic to attend the Scottish Institute of Fundraising Community Fundraising’s Special Interest Group event based around all things recruitment. I make no apologies for sharing the ‘top tips’ garnered from the event: - Negotiate - not just with salary, but on benefits package too. - Benchmarking is important in all aspects of recruitment - as a hiring manager it is essential to know your salary/benefits are competitive and as a candidate to know your negotiating position. - Disappointing to hear that 67% of entry-level charity jobs (UK wide) are paid at under the living wage. These are huge barriers for people wanting to enter the third sector. - When recruiting, make sure you are selling the cause, as well as the role. - As a fundraiser contact the hiring manager prior to the interview to chat through the role. As the hiring manager, make sure you are available for these conversations - one suggestion was to have an 'open hour' where prospective candidates can ring and find out more. - A key thing candidates want to probe is about the culture of the organisation - people are nervous about making a move in case the culture does not fit and want to find out as much as possible about the charity prior to interview. #recruitment #toptipsthursday

"In Not-for-Profit recruiting you have a lot less to work with so there are some key skills that will help to be more strategic in your approach which you will need to rely on so much more than if you were in other sectors." There's no doubt that recruiting in a NFP setting presents it's own set of challenges - and opportunities. We talked to Eva Geissa (Husted) Talent Acquisition Manager Autism Queensland Limited to find out how she manages the challenges of limited resources and the allied health worker crisis, and why she loves working in the Not-for-Profit space. #TalentAcquisition #NotforProfit #Recruitment
So you wanna be a… Not-for-Profit recruiter

Helping Founders & CEOs of fast growth start-ups or with a big scale-up project to achieve their vision through talent & people. Recruiter | Trainer | Speaker | EmCee
Happy Monday, y'all! 😁 Hitting the ground running this morning and have some real gems to share! 💎 Following a highly successful headhunt and talent attraction campaign for a client based in Holborn, we heard on Friday that FOUR of our FIVE shortlisted candidates have been invited back for final interview next week. WHOOP! 💎 That means we will have TWO or THREE fabulous candidates still looking for a move. (This depends on who gets it because one of my candidates does not really want to move from their current job...only for the organisation we're hiring for!) 💎 If you know a London or Home Counties based organisation that is looking for an experienced #HeadOfFinance, please point them in my direction: sarah@recruitrecruit.co.uk, 07827 860358. 💎 Each of these candidates is looking to join an organisation that is purpose-driven and makes a difference. This could be in the following sectors: #sustainability #CIC #charity #conservation #ethicaltrade #humanrights
