Did you know that London has some of the lowest voter registration rates in England?? 2024 is a big year for democracy, with elections in London and a general election due to take place at some point, this year. But the way we vote has changed – the Elections Act (2022) has introduced mandatory photo ID to be able to vote in person, at upcoming elections; has brought changes to postal and proxy voting; has introduced the First-Past-the-Post voting system for the Mayor of London election and other changes.
