I've posted - perhaps ranted - on this before, but I find a prevalence of phrases thrown around in the pro AV industry as we try to promote our products and solutions. Examples: top-tier audio quality seamlessly integrates cutting-edge elevate (your audio experience, your sound, your business, etc.) take your listening experience to new heights a seamless blend of full-range audio All of these share the goal of trying to sound impressive, but they are all intangible and unquantifiable. What is the threshold or benchmark for top-tier audio quality? In the past two weeks I have seen at least three manufacturers talk about elevating your experience in one way or another. What does this really mean? Are we helping our customers make informed decisions to solve their problems or are we just adding to the noise? Words are powerful.
