3 lessons from the king of #luxury Mr. Bernard Arnauld on this video I found: 1. Luxury is #quality and #creativity which creates desire on the customer. 2. LVMH group does not do #marketing. Simply creates products and then customers follow. LVMH creates the market, not the other way around. 3. Arnauld is pessimistic short term, #optimistic long term. Always thinking the worst is coming. But always optimistic for the long term. https://lnkd.in/dCqvRSfT Luxury = Desire = Quality+Creativity

Even hard numbers are manipulated these days. Check the image below about the % revenue increase by Moncler. Is it 11% as Fashion Network USA reports? Or is it 8% as Vogue US reports? The reality is in the original source. Go to Moncler Investors page, download their latest report and check the real number. Which is correct? The truth lies in the original source. Visit the Moncler Investors page, download their latest report, and see the real numbers for yourself. Always search for the truth and don’t just believe everything you’re fed.

Investing is simple (not easy. It's not the same) If you only read, understand and practice what Charlie Munger says on his 1994 speech at USC Business School “A Lesson on Elementary, Worldly Wisdom As It Relates To Investment Management & Business”, I can guarantee (*) that it will make you rich. Read it by either: 1. Buying the book Poor Charlie's Almanack: https://amzn.to/3Rr00tt 2. By free here: https://lnkd.in/daWYn9bF 3. I summarised it for myself: https://lnkd.in/dN_WegYN Or I (*) I can also guarantee 90% of you won’t read it in full. 90% of the remaining won’t understand what they read. 99% of the remaining won’t practice it on daily basis for decades. Which means only 1 in 10000 of the readers will become rich.

This from an interview of Tony Robbins to Michael B Kim on the latest book from Tony Robbins about #investing. Population is ageing in most developed countries so investing (and opportunities) may shift from Leisure to (elderly) Health. Or even better Leisure+Health for elders. Think about it

Suffering from lower back pain since the end of November 2023, which as a cycling is pain in the ass (no pun intended, or maybe yes). Traditional medicines doesn't offer much relief: the old do nothing and take this pills. So as I can't visit the best in the field I read his main book and summarised what I learned from it. How its useful for you if you suffer back pain. If not and you're a cyclist, consider yourself lucky (or young), but start applying the McGill's Big3 in your routine ASAP. Without further ado, my book summary (I was typing back summary, imagine you) on Back Mechanics by Dr. Stuart Mc.Gill: https://lnkd.in/dYMGRfNp As a bonus note, I also found useful this Foundation training exercises: https://lnkd.in/d53JDR2W They're tough, but useful. #backpain #backpainrelief #backpaintreatment #foundationtraining #coretraining #stability
