The downfall of the metallurgical industry in Europe is self inflicted with internal environmental restrictions and a failed energy policy with prices double of what Asia and USA have. The dependency of China will increase and Europe’s security and strength will decrease. And.. the global CO2 emissions will increase.

#Transformation is not the same journey for everyone. For some sectors it requires complete turn around of business models, infrastructure, technology, way of thinking, skills, significant investments and, of course, time. Therefore context is crucial in considering #Sustainability efforts as understanding seriousness of commitments and prospective results of the company is as important as reported yearly picture. #KNEnergies

It might looks this article is unfit for LinkedIn topics, but it's not quite so. The article is revealing how Stalin implemented the hierarchy and network strategy. The model of hierarchies and networks was widely used, from the ancient people to the successful companies in the market economy. But Stalin had created hierarchies and networks to gain absolute power and to opress the human rights and individual freedom of the people caught inside USSR boundaries and in the countries under its direct influence, as Romania was. He was very successful in using them for his own desired outcomes. Some of them: - expansion the influence of its communist party - establish a survival dependency on the powerful (dominant) master who controls the essential resources - economic transformation by wide spread famine and suffering. This is part of our history and we should know this, to understand how big is the impact of strategies well implemented by wrong people.
