🌏🫶World Health day! The World Health Organization has established a World Health Day. That day is today, the 7th of April. The theme of this years World Health Day is "The right of eveyone". This means that everyone, everywhere, needs to have access to health services, education, and information, as well as safe drinking water, clean air, good nutrition, quality housing, decent working and envoirenmental conditions, and freedom from discrimination. Biowest tries its best to improve and provide solutions for the planet and its employees. In the 35 years of its existence, many improvements have been made: - #Recycling of office materials (ink cartridges, paper, cardboard, polystyrene, light bulbs, batteries, etc.) - Recovery of the heat rejected by the cold rooms to heat the water - Revision of the insulation of our buildings during renovation - #Selfconsumption of electricity in the buildings thanks to solar panels - Ecological solution to keep products cold and combine shipments - Draining parking space so that rainwater doesn't go to the sewage plant - Privilege of natural light - Supply of water bottels and mugs to all employees and elimination of plastic cups - Digitization of documents Of course, all of our current and future projects are thought out in a way so we constantly improve our processes.
