Day 42: Choose a seemingly ordinary day that holds special meaning. As I think about a seemingly ordinary day that holds a special meaning on Sundays, I’ve dedicated myself to rest, relaxation, and fellowship with the body of Christ. These days have been fruitful times throughout the year for connecting with my family, turning off my phone or leaving it behind, and enjoying the day without thinking about the hustle and bustle of work. On these days, I’m not rushed in my interactions with my children, and we can play without the next meeting, the next event, the next task, etc, most Sundays. Also, we have a dedicated book of the Bible we read through, particularly on Sunday; although it hasn’t been as consistent as I’d liked it to be, it is essential. As far as connecting with others, I’ve hosted a men’s fellowship at home and enjoyed connecting with brothers in Christ around the word of God and a meal. I believe a house, a building, and a property should be maximized. Our goal is to leverage the real estate God has given us for his glory and the good of others. Homeschooling and hosting others at home are enormous blessings for us and others, allowing us to maximize our real estate. I’ve seen huge homes with little to no use in my work. Creating memories on the Lord’s Day has a special meaning to me. To support the work of God on TSU and the Third Ward, click on the link. https://lnkd.in/g_SNS_2y.
