Nordlaks plans to build its fourth #smolt facility in northern #Norway. 🐟 As part of its "large smolt" strategy, the family-owned #salmonfarming company has already purchased a site in Rødskjær, #Troms County, and plans to begin construction in 2027. 💬 "For every #job we create at Nordlaks, at least two more are created in other sectors. This means up to 150 #jobs, #opportunities for local suppliers, and a boost in the production of healthy #salmon," said Nordlaks CEO Eirik Welde. 💬 "This is an important step for #Nordlaks, both in terms of improving our production processes and contributing to the local #economy.
