From uprooted trees and flooding, to destroyed homes, roads, clubs and golf courses, the impact is nothing short of devastating. 💔 We stand with you and pray for you.

Stormy Flinchum, Kaitlyn E. Allen, CCM, Brooke Garner, Destiny Storey, Amanda Lyke, Derrick Gerard, CCM congrats on your hard work on revitalizing the Yo-Pro network in the Carolinas, along with our friends in Georgia and Florida! Proud of you and your fellow Yo-Pro collaborators for bringing the vision to life and for your award winning efforts!
What a surprise this was to see last week! Winning first place for the Chapter Idea Fair at Club Management Association of America LLC has been a huge honor. It has been an incredibly rewarding experience to serve the Carolinas Chapter CMAA in this capacity and to witness the revival of the Young Professionals (YoPro) group across the country. A huge thank you goes out to my YoPro leaders not only from the Carolinas Chapter CMAA, but also from the Georgia Chapter - Club Management Association of America and the FLORIDA CHAPTER CLUB MANAGERS ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA that hold a special place in my heart. We could not have brought this idea together without the collaboration of Hannah Greenland, Ben Granish, Nadia H. Dunrod, Brooke Garner, Destiny Storey, Zachary Recckio, Kaitlyn E. Allen, CCM, Amanda Lyke, and Derrick Gerard, CCM. Special thanks to Kate Scott and Allegra Johnson for always supporting our ideas, both large and small! We may be individual Chapters, but together we are stronger! #CMAA #YoPro #Collaboration #ClubManagement #Leadership

It is with a heavy heart that we share of the unexpected pasing of beloved chapter member, Lee Smith, CCM, CCE. Lee passed away while on a hiking trip at the Grand Canyon earlier this week, doing something he loved in a place that was very special to him. Lee was the long tentured General Manager/ COO of Forsyth Country Club and dedicated chapter member and Past President of the Carolinas Chapter. He made a lasting impact on many and will always be remembered for the many gifts he brought to this life as a devoted husband, mentor, leader, and friend. Please keep his wife, Marianne, and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Just had the best post-event call with Dan Irvin, M.A.Ed/Adult Education and Training who spent 3-hrs with us at our Summer Conference last week! It was a pleasure to work with Dan - he is engaged, organized, consciously intentional, provided actionable take-aways and through personal stories and vulnerability connected with our members in a special way. Here's a special message from Dan, to each of you!
