Did you know that we are in the middle of self-care month? It started on June 24th and ends on July 24th. With that in mind, I thought I’d share some quick and easy personal wellness assessment questions: · Have I eaten today? · When was it that I last drank water? · Am I setting appropriate limits for myself? · How does my body feel right now? In this moment? · What is one person / thing I feel gratitude for today? Now. What is one thing you can do today to support your own self-care? · Eat some protein? · Drink a glass of water? · Say no to an invitation? · Go for a walk or a workout? · Close your eyes and remember how much you love your grandmother? There is a beautiful quote from Maya Angelou I’ll leave you with in honor of self-care month. “As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands. One for helping yourself. The other for helping others.” Take time today to help yourself.
