For this year's Powered By Purpose awards, we've made 2 categories- For-Profit Organizations and Non-Profit Organizations. For-profit Organizations: Purpose beyond profit: The business must operate in a way that goes beyond just making a profit, showing a clear focus on positive social or environmental impact. Nonprofit Organizations: Market-based approach: Must show that the organization takes a market-based approach to fulfilling its mission, implying they utilize commercial strategies to achieve their social goals.
