Standard size of a business card is 3.5*2 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 We make the bleed line of 0.125 on all sides 𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐞: This is where you extends images beyond the Trim Line, preventing white borders after printing. 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐦: This is where the business card will be cut after printing. PRINTING AND DESIGN TECHNIQUES Training in printing and design techniques could greatly benefit certain professionals. It's both amusing and concerning to encounter numerous high-ranking officials who adopt a know-it-all demeanor yet struggle with fundamental printing and design concepts and their significance. For various reasons, these individuals might struggle to discern between RGB and CMYK colors, distinguish a rich black from a standard black, identify vector from bitmap graphics, or comprehend the nuanced disparities between printing a report from their office platform onto a desk printer and a meticulously crafted document printed at a printing press. There are also those who cannot discern between an original illustrated artwork or logo and a cheap copy. It's quite remarkable to see the expressions when such individuals are advised about bleeding documents! 😂 I find it really worrying and disappointing how major agencies in various industries employ untrained officials to handle their design and printing duties and neglect providing such training.
