It is only quarter two of 2024, yet we are delighted to announce our second major Award success. At the recent 'London Spirits Competition', Carpathian Single Malt Whisky’s Madeira expression took a ‘Gold’ medal, whilst ‘Silver’ medals were awarded to our Feteasca Neagra, Vradiano, Ruby Port, Burgundy, Cognac, Amarone, Commandaria and Peated Cask Strength expressions. The multi-disciplinary judging panel made up of 40-members, analysed entries on the basis of Quality, Value-for-Money & Appearance and so we are very proud that so many of our expressions were selected. Dr Nawaf Salameh, Founding Chairman, Alexandrion Group said: “The London Spirits Competition holds much importance for us, firstly, in terms of the diversity of the judging panel, pulling together many leading figures in the spirits industry from varying backgrounds. And secondly, London and the UK is a key market for Carpathian Single Malt Whisky and the Alexandrion Group as a whole. It goes without saying, that I am more than delighted and proud that our flagship product continues to exemplify the best of what Romanian products can offer, using the innate qualities provided by through nature, culture and heritage”. #londoncompetitions #london #uk #spirit #spiritindustry #winner #carpathiansinglemaltwhisky #romaniasfirstsinglemalt #romanianmaltedbarley #singlemalt #romaniasfirstsinglemalt #romanianmaltedbarley #singlemalt #beverageindustry #spiritsindustry #singlemaltsociety #whiskylovers #alexandriongroup

Every coffee lover knows Brazilian coffee is one of the best in the world, but have you ever wondered about the journey this heavenly brew takes to get from the lush farms to your favourite mug each morning? 🌱☕️ In this commercial I had the pleasure of producing for Café Santa Clara, we had the unique opportunity to bring this captivating story to life directly from the verdant coffee farms and bustling processing plants in the Northeast of Brazil. Our aim? To not just showcase the brand's rich coffee but also to immerse our audience in the authentic process that makes each sip so special. One fascinating insight that I discovered was about the coffee beans themselves. Did you know that when you pick a mature coffee bean straight from the plant, it tastes surprisingly sweet? This little nugget of information delighted our team, and everyone wanted to try it! It's these unexpected details that truly enrich one's appreciation for the final, roasted perfection we enjoy daily. Creating this commercial was a journey in itself, akin to the path each coffee bean travels from farm to cup. It was a reminder of the art, the science, and the myriad of hands that contribute to our morning rituals. It's always nice to bring a piece of the Northeast of Brazil, a region that doesn't always get as much attention as it deserves, and its coffee-making magic to screens around the country. I'd love to hear your thoughts or any coffee-related stories you might have. How does coffee inspire your day, or have you had a unique coffee experience during your travels? Share your stories in the comments below—let's celebrate our mutual love for coffee together! #CoffeeLovers #BrazilianCoffee #BehindTheScenes #ShareYourStory #NotBeforeMyCoffee

Whisky Rarity Fuels Soaring Prices and Investor Interest The prized Scotch whisky industry is booming like never before, with collectors and investors clamouring to get their hands on increasingly scarce and valuable bottles. Rare whiskies have become a hot commodity, with prices at auctions skyrocketing in recent years. Just last year, a bottle of The Macallan 1926 60-Year-Old sought by collectors worldwide sold for a staggering £2.2 million at an auction in London, smashing the previous world record. Distilled in 1926 and aged for 60 years, only 40 bottles of this legendary single malt were ever produced. "Rare whiskies have become liquid gold for investors" said Colin Fraser, a whisky specialist at Sotheby's auction house. "The demand is being driven by the limited supply and by whisky drinkers in emerging markets who are willing to pay top prices." The whisky investment craze shows no signs of letting up, with the total value of rare bottles sold at auction in the UK jumping over 60% in just the last year alone according to industry experts. Bottles from lost or ghosted distilleries that closed decades ago are among the most coveted. For wealthy whisky aficionados and investors alike, it seems the quest for the perfect aged dram has become a obsession that money can't easily quench. The real spirit of Scotland's national drink may have finally met its match. #WhiskyInvestment #rarity #AgedWhisky #barrelaged #investment

Trade marks - case of first Scottish 'tequila' maker is example of a geographical indication (GI) prohibition at work. A GI is an intellectual property right that protects a name of a product that has a specific geographical origin and owes its qualities and/or reputation to its particular origin. TEQUILA was established in 1974 by means of a Declaration for the Protection of the Appellation of Origin. The Mexican State is the owner and holder of every right concerning the appellation of origin.
