It is Hot. A New Fragrance Trend. Or A Permanent New Balance. Fragrances Without Alcohol. Talented industry professionals have developed solid scents, layering mists, natural perfumes, biodegradable and sustainable fragrances... They have now taken on the challenge of creating an alcohol-free olfactory category. Quite a long 'bake' and a new take. Customer research confirms a universal appeal for the alcohol-free new generation. Regulation can be a firm reason behind the development as in California. The latest creation is like a skincare application backed by serious innovation. It requires a distinct formulation given the different evaporation and an overall molecule adaptation. Patents bloom with the category boom; AquaElixir, Aqua Hybrid, Aqua Scent... As for perfumes; 'J'adore Parfum d'Eau', 'Guerlain Eau Rose'... to name a few. Original and multifunctional, the new water-soluble scents are ideal for hair, body care and have a longer wear. A new perfume gesture with a different scent texture. A soft skin with a moist appearance and a 'present' fragrance. Just Lovely. To those who want more. That will do. Like a new skin, it may even change the face of the fragrance future. https://lnkd.in/e-vjGvTF #premiumbeautynews Sophie Normand #skinification Expressions Parfumées #newperfumecategory #innovation #newtechnology #watersollublealcoholfreefragrances #aqueousscents Marine IPERT #watersolubleperfumes #guerlaineaurose Cosmo International Fragrances Thomas Delmas Marie-Eugénie Bouge Takasago International Corporation Sylvain Eyraud #newperfumegesture #multifunctionalscents #regulations #perfumecomposition #patents

#fragrance News: According to Mintel 2024 #Trends research from the UK, economic conditions and Perfume trends are evolving as brands build on consumers’ association of fragrances with mood. “It’s not surprising that stress relief, mood or energy boost, and mental clarity can indeed be a deciding purchase factor.” “Brands need to communicate those beneficial effects through their on-pack messaging, comprehensive online content and storytelling.” Fragrance as an Extension of the Wearer’s Personality Fragrance, while functioning as a tool to escape reality, can also be positioned as an extension of the wearer’s personality. Turning fragrance into an expression of one’s own identity can ensure repeat purchases. Part of a larger trend we saw mentioned in various recent trade shows like #NYSCC New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists w/ Mintel too. ⭐️BIGGEST 2024 FRAGRANCE TREND?⭐️ Let’s kick off July with a big reveal. Part 1! 📈Scent trends are one thing, but there is one particular trend revolving around consumer demand in the fragrance industry that will impact all 2024 perfume launches. Read on. 💻 People's awareness of social and environmental issues has grown over the past three years, which has drastically altered consumer purchasing patterns and beautification regimens. As such, customers now focus on: 🧐TRANSPARENCY Customers demand greater openness from perfumery brands as well as a sincere dedication to ethical and sustainable fragrance production. Refillable perfume bottles, ingredients supplied responsibly, and cardboard packaging are all desirable features for cosmetics. 💪🏼FUNCTIONALITY Customers desire daily scent care products to have mood-enhancing properties in addition to cosmetic appeal. Many natural substances and essential oils, possessing calming, stimulating, or elevating qualities, are blended into an extensive variety of cosmetic items, such as fragrances. 🪐UNIVERSAL PRODUCTS The opportunities for true self-expression are increased by the fact that beauty and cosmetics are no longer made to fit traditional ideas of what is masculine or feminine. By embodying a concept rather than a gender, fragrances open up new creative avenues. 🫵🏼Is YOUR fragrance brand future-proof? 💁🏼♂️Get in toch with me today to discuss your brand needs. #cosmetics #fragrance #trends

The fragrance industry is growing across all price points. From premium perfumes to private labels and dupes, consumers are spending across brands. This is also why the global fragrance market surged by $64.4 billion in 2023, with 12.2% growth in premium and 10.8% in mass-market segments. This is why both premium and budget fragrances are winning: → Premium fragrance brands are continuing to see growth as customers are trading for prestige products. These consumers want higher concentrations like parfums and elixirs for a richer, more immersive experience. → On the flip side, affordable alternatives such as body sprays, dupes, and minis are growing due to consumers who want to smell luxurious without breaking the bank. Consumers have realised that fragrance is not just about smelling good but is also about self-expression, nostalgia and identity. With innovation across price points and the rise of mood-based and niche fragrances, the year ahead promises even more exciting developments in the fragrance industry. Are you excited to see the future of this industry? #perfumery #fragrance
