You need creativity in business—especially when you’ve just started your own firm and don’t have all the resources you might need. Kyle Scheele, aka the Patron Saint of Crazy Ideas, said “Creativity is about how do I get this job done when I don’t have the resources that I feel like I would like to have, I don’t have the time, I don’t have the team, I don’t have the money. That’s where creative work comes into play.” How many times have you needed to get super creative with your work? Kyle will take the Excell stage to share with our Partners and Coaching members how to: ✅ Harness their capacity for creativity ✅ Get better ideas from themselves and their team ✅ Avoid idea killers. We look forward to seeing what creative ideas our Carson Partners and Coaching members will take home and implement in their firms!

Helping solopreneurs sell 4-5 figure offers while working less & power writing | Served: 250+ clients. 2,000+ customers. $3.4M in client sales. See my Modern Maker Model → swipemymojo.com
Last year, I invested 4-figs for group coaching. I’m grateful for what I learned. But something wasn't right. I was exhausted, unhappy, anxious. (Google Photos reminded me “a year ago today”). I hand-wrote what I didn’t like. I felt I was headed down the wrong path. As an introvert & creative. I then wrote out what felt aligned. In hindsight - it was money well spent. Because it revealed my own philosophy. The Modern Maker. I knew exactly what I wanted. I knew exactly what I didn't want. And within weeks I did things my way. My energy was through the roof. I was attracting dream clients. Who were aligned with my beliefs & values. And also disliked sales bros (who wear crocs). Modern Maker is based on creating: - a low stress - highly leveraged - simple business. And it’s a big part of why people come my way. The ones who are not aligned. Go elsewhere. Lesson? Do what works for you. It's a game of attract and repel. So, draw out your +/- and go be a happy bean. ↓ PS. 4,100 Makers got their free sales template to attract dream clients: https://lnkd.in/dxF_zmK9

I've participated in countless business programs over the years—courses, memberships, 1:1 coaching, and masterminds. Truthfully, they were all pretty similar. So, when I first created my mastermind in 2022, I inadvertently followed the same template I'd experienced in those programs. ...I cancelled the launch 10 days in. Not because the interest wasn’t there either. I had a waitlist, hosted a launch event, secured a few yes’s from sales calls, and even collected deposits. But the inner sense of misalignment was impossible to ignore. I transitioned some yes’s to 1:1 coaching and refunded the rest. I went back to the drawing board. Something was missing. I wish I could say it was a sudden epiphany, a lightning bolt moment, but discovering what the market truly needed and what I was uniquely equipped to offer was a deep, reflective journey. Fast forward to 2024, over 18 months later and the first round of Luminate sold out within one week of open cart. Now we're here, almost six months on. Ten women's lives transformed and I'm ready to welcome in a new cohort of female founders ready to expand themselves and their businesses. Meet Luminate 2.0... It’s the six month business immersion for creatives, coaches and service based female founders to grow both themselves AND their business. Internal Transformation > External Results. Most people will just teach you what they did themselves… but I am here to facilitate originality. It’s not about doing things my way, it’s about finding yours. We don’t follow a set curriculum. I know it sounds unconventional, but over time, I've learned that rigid curricula can hinder true transformation—unless, of course, you're learning a new skill. Luminate prioritises transformation above all else. Skills are acquired along the way and need regular updating. Transformation, however, is a journey requiring leaps of faith, tenacity, and the willingness to embrace discomfort. Doing this alone is challenging and time-consuming. Luminate is where you'll find your cheerleaders and come back to your true north. The perfect union that is self discovery and strategy. Luminate will help you illuminate the gold within you; Within your natural ways of being, your past experience and your unique edge. You’ll bring that into the light in a way you never have before to create the most beautiful leverage in your business. The leverage that you're missing for more time freedom, more impact and more wealth. Luminate is ready to change the game for female founders ready to rise higher in all areas of their business and life. We kick off September 2nd and there's just two spaces left. Small business owners often say to us at Magical Teams: "I don't know what I don't know." Our founder, Christina Salerno, love to teach others about #mentalmodels, which is essentially a conceptual representation. The more of these you have, then the more creativity and high quality decisions you can make. Think back to a game you played for the first time. You didn't know the rules or have any strategies to reference yet. Now think about a game you're really great at playing. Likely you have little "tricks" that increase your chances to win. Those are based around various mental models you've picked up from playing. Growing a business and streamlining the operations requires a huge range of mental models that most founders have to learn on the fly. When someone is not experienced, then they have to use someone else's model (such as: taking a training program or using a business framework) or they can troubleshoot their way with trial and error. This an important learning process in becoming an expert. However, not every business owner wants or needs to become an #operations expert. As a business matures, a founder's time needs to evolve into being spent on the things only they can do. If you're trying to hold on tightly to things you're not an expert in, consider why. You might think it's a lack of resources, but that's just a matter of prioritization. More likely there's some fear, doubt, or control in the way of letting go. It's ok not to know. It's ok to admit and see help if you don't know. It's vital that you identify what truly matters for moving the needle and get support if that's not an area of your own expertise. Your business depends on it! What's something you really ought to let an #expert take off your plate for you?

Welcome back everyone, this week I was kindly enough to be joined by Gemma Gilbert for a chat all about why we should think about just being on one social media platform, but also how and why she chose to take the leap into being a business coach rather than a school teacher! She helps her clients create evergreen coaching groups that can be filled throughout the year, without having to create a big hype launch! We were also able to chat more about some of the ethics and morals that NEED to go into your marketing but also, of course, your business! As the internet has seen a huge number of "buy my coaching for 1k" style spammers over the last few years, how and why everyone has and everyone needs a personal brand and building that trust with those who you work with! Gemma also explained how and why her program came into being, as she was full when it came to 1-to-1 sessions. There are only really two ways you can go: A - bring your price per 1-to-1 up, or B - hire a team. Both she didn't really want to do, so she chose to go into the "coaching" space that allows her the time freedom to be with her family. As well as still being able to have the financial freedom as well! We, of course, got into some tips and tricks for running your business, as well as where does the entrepreneurial fire come from in the first place? Full interview linked in the comments

Mentor for the Joinery and kitchen Industry | investor | I can enable you to earn more, work less and own a well oiled business that runs itself. Let me show you how.
A fantastic day today discussing adding a great Joinery Company to my portfolio, can’t wait to get started systemising and then growing their business. A real bonus to be working on this project with a mentoring client, teaching them how to invest in and scale businesses. A second bonus to be teaching the owner how to mentor and transform peoples lives and businesses. Surround yourself with likeminded people who have skills and knowledge you don’t have, growing a business with them becomes a fun adventure.
