We’re thrilled to partner with Achievement First to make mental health care more accessible to their student body. Serving 15,000 students in 41 schools across Connecticut, New York, and Rhode Island, Achievement First shares our belief in focusing on the whole person in order to help students succeed in school and in life. To refer a student, speak with your Achievement First school social worker. 

September is Suicide Awareness Month, a time to focus on getting people to speak more openly about mental health struggles and learn how to recognize the signs that someone might be thinking about suicide. To get the conversation started, we created a free toolkit to provide people with the know-how to spot when someone's struggling and give them the confidence to do something about it. Back-to-school can be a stressful time for staff and students alike. To support student mental health during this transitional period, we’ve designed a free activity bundle in English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese with 14 worksheets covering the following topics: - Stress Reduction - Coping with Anxiety - Building Confidence - Deepening Social Connections - Managing Technology Use Suited for kids and teens from elementary through high school, these worksheets are meant to help them build or revisit skills that will support them year-round.
