Also, it has long been proven that electric carriages are much more harmful to the planet's ecology. But why do we want to cause more harm and pay for it with tax deductions instead of using them otherwise? The WH Administration are telling us: we know that used trains are complete crap, but to make it less scary for you to repair them, we will charge you less taxes for it. But why? Why should the rest of the owners of 285M used cars in the United States pay in full? After all, there is absolutely no point in the “environmental friendliness” of electric vehicles... Or is there?

As of Jan. 1, purchasing certain electric cars in America has just become much more affordable. Thanks to a new federal electric vehicle tax credit, car buyers can request up to $7,500 off the price of certain new EVs, or $4,000 off of used EVs, as an upfront discount. Previously, buyers had to wait until tax season to get their money. This year, however, dealerships that have signed up to offer the discount can simply take the money off the top. This is why you see a lot of Montana license plates in Beverly Hills: "In 2021, it was reported by the Montana DMV that 10% of McLaren P1s ever made (which are valued at $1 million each) were registered in the state. It was also reported that four of the 100 Pagani Huayras (each valued at $2.5 million) were also registered in Montana.So what is it about Montana that makes it a hot spot for supercar owners? Taxes. Montana does not charge sales tax on personal property. Alaska, Delaware, New Hampshire, and Oregon also don’t require sales tax. Meaning that anyone who pays $500,000 on a Lamborghini will not have to pay $36k in state taxes in order to own it. Meanwhile, the California state tax is 7.25%. The other reason is that Montana does not have any mandatory vehicle emissions tests. Considering that the state’s population is not dense enough like many other major metropolitan states like New York, none of its populated areas warrant the need for a test. Meanwhile, in California, a vehicle must meet the Clean Air Act’s regulations by passing its emissions standards, especially if it is made after 1975." https://lnkd.in/g2EskYZN
