There are dozens and dozens of new Chinese manufacturers heading to the UK, so we used the June Startline Used Car Tracker to ask dealers which they thought were the most likely to make an impact here? You can see the answers in the infographic, with the top three being Xpeng (named by 36% of dealers), followed by Omoda (34%) and BYD (31%). Xpeng is an interesting result at the top of the table. Although they have just launched in Germany, they are not expected to arrive in the UK later this year, while other brands such as BYD and GWM ORA already have cars on UK roads. However, dealers obviously see some real potential there. #Startlinemotorfinance #motorfinance #dealers #dealership #autoretail #motorindustry #StartlineUsedCarTracker

Good luck to JAECOO UK - part of the 奇瑞汽车 Chery Automobile Co.,Ltd. family - in launching a new premium brand into the most competitive market in the world. Car buyers in the premium space are more likely than ever to switch brands - especially in the EV world. But as much as consumers are not as loyal to the existing premium players as they once were, established brands can be hard to turn away from. Much work needs to be done (and money needs to be spent) to establish the Jaecoo brand here and across Europe and the US. There are plenty of examples of how not to do it, but there remains a great opportunity to succeed - if it's done right... https://lnkd.in/eFQkN68C

The years 1980 to 1985 were a time of growth, innovation, and expansion for us. 🕰️ In 1980, Helbako relocated, and the new site at Hangstein offered 90 m² of space for the team, which then consisted of 6 employees. As early as 1982, there was another move to Schopshofer Weg, where the office and production area was expanded to an impressive 250 m². 🏢💼 In the following years, Helbako worked on further developing its products, customers, and services. In 1983, development work was intensified to create innovative solutions for the automotive industry. There was a significant step in 1985 when SMD technology was implemented and 62 employees were employed. 🛠️🚗 The products from Helbako were groundbreaking at this time. The second generation of the crash sensor for central locking systems, the central control of the door locking system for Citroen, and a pilot project for door controls similar to the switching for Peugeot were just some of the pioneering innovations. In addition, 500 units of the crash sensor, 300 units of the central control for Citroen, and 1000 units of the second generation central locking system for BMW, Opel, and Fiat were produced daily for the TIER 1 customers. 🚀 Thanks to the success of our products and the dedication of our Helbako team, the turnover quadrupled between 1980 and 1985 and the number of employees tripled - a testament to the impressive development of the company. 💼📈 Stay tuned for more exciting epochs in the history of Helbako! 🚀🕰️ #HelbakoTimeTravel #HelbakoHistory #Innovation #AutomotiveIndustry #SuccessStory #FutureOriented
