🚗 The Core of Autonomous Driving: 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 and 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻-𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 🚗 As I dive deeper into understanding how self-driving cars work, two essential capabilities stand out that allow a vehicle to drive on its own: 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 🌍: Self-driving cars need to constantly "see" and understand their surroundings through advanced sensors like cameras, LiDAR, and radar. This environmental awareness enables the vehicle to detect other cars, pedestrians, road signs, and obstacles. 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘂𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻-𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 🛣️: After understanding the environment, the car must make real-time decisions about how to maneuver.
