With the Paris Olympics coming to a close, we wanted to share three great moments from the games to inspire your own Strengths Stacking. 💪 🥇Simone Biles We loved watching the gymnastics GOAT, Simone Biles, prepare for her floor routine in the team final and say to herself, “You got this.” Strengths Stacking is all about being able to confidently remind yourself that “you got this” and to know it’s true because you have stacked up the evidence. 🥈The Bouldering Competition The bouldering has been amazing to watch this year and a great example of the importance of preparedness. As the athletes only see the wall for the first time when they come out, they have to trust all the different skills, techniques, flexibility and strength they have stacked up in training, and turn to them in solving the challenge of getting to the top. 🥉Keegan Palmer We read an article about how Australian skateboarder Keegan Palmer drew on what other’s thought of him to help him regain his confidence in the Olympics final at Paris. Using feedback and encouraging words from people who matter in meaningful situations is an important part of stacking your strengths. What have been been your favourite moments of these Olympic games and how has the last fortnight inspired you to stack your strengths? #TowardsLeadership #SummerOfStrengths #ParisOlympics #Olympics #OlympicsInspiration #SimoneBiles #Bouldering #KeeganPalmer #StrengthsStacking #PersonalDevelopment

How many can relate to this issue of ageism and your ability to perform? Moreover, age has become a topic of conversation during this 2024 Presidential Election year. This post on Simone Bile's age (see the link below) and amazingness (see the video post of her and other famous gymnasts trying out for the U.S. Olympic Gymnastics trials) is written to inspire anyone struggling with public opinions about their age or self-doubt and their ability to compete and outcompete their competitors. Tell yourself that age is a number. Do not focus on negative thoughts about your age or what you think people are saying about your age and the skills you bring to the table. when you look at yourself in the mirror, please focus on your goals and how you're going to achieve them. Keep moving and innovating. At this year's Olympics in Paris, Simone Biles, age 27, defies an age bar, becoming the oldest women's champion in gymnastics. Despite her age, she stands tall amongst contenders competing in this year's Olympic competition in Paris. Like she said, 'Aging Like Fine Wine,' she has broken a record held by Linda Metheny-Mulvihill, who won in 1971 at 24; at her age, she has won over 37 Olympic and the World Championship medals. The medals will keep coming during this year's Olympics in Paris, the city of love and romance. Simone's achievements serve as a powerful inspiration for all of us. As Olympics end, Para Olympics start. 🥉 From gathering about 400 physically challenged players to 4,400 players, the Paralympic Games have come a long way in the last 64 years. The Paralympics was founded by Sir Ludwig Guttmann and is a multi-sport event focused for specially-abled athletes. Here are some interesting facts about the Paralympics: 1. The first Paralympic Games took place almost 64 years after the Olympics were created. The games were first held in 1960 in Rome. 2. The word ‘para’ means ‘alongside’. Thus the word ‘Paralympics’ refers to a second Olympics for specially-abled athletes to bring out their talents. 3. While the rings make up the Olympic's symbol, the Paralympics’ symbol consists of three agitos or curved dashes in red, blue and green. ‘Agitos’ means ‘I move’ in Latin. Thus, the sign represents the spirit of being an athlete. 4. Each athlete strives to embody the four values that are core to the games— courage, determination, inspiration and equality. 5. The paralympic athletes are often called adaptive athletes, for they constantly alter their equipment or prosthetics as per their specific sport. 6. The Games are an opportunity to discover two sports that exist only at the Paralympic Games: boccia and goalball.

The "Pommel Horse Guy" helped the USA Men's Gymnastics Team win a medal for the first time in 16 years and could be looking at brand deals due to his newfound internet stardom. 🏅🤸♂️ Stephen Nedoroscik has gone viral for wearing glasses during his sole event in gymnastics, the pommel horse. Nedoroscik was put on the five-member U.S. Olympic team because he’s so good at that event. His selection came as a surprise to many gymnastics fans, who questioned the sanity of USA Gymnastics in banking on a specialist who only competes on one of the six events in men’s gymnastics. The pressure didn't get to Nedoroscik, though, who waited 2.5 hours for his turn to mount the pommel. ⏳👓 What Nedoroscik did while waiting is now the stuff of internet legend. Snaps of him with his head back, eyes closed, glasses on, and seemingly dozing have become a meme. But Nedoroscik was just in full preparation mode. This time spent doing breathing exercises led Nedoroscik to help lead his team to win their first medal in 16 years, securing Bronze in the 2024 Paris Olympics. 🥉🇺🇸 While Nedoroscik becomes an internet star and meme legend, it's a perfect opportunity to capitalize on his signature style—wearing glasses while competing in the Olympics! Warby Parker could greatly benefit from endorsing Nedoroscik and adding to the face of "The Pommel Horse Guy." 📸👓 What do you think of Warby Parker sponsoring Stephen Nedoroscik? Let me know in the comments! 💬👇 #BrandDeals #Endorsement #Marketing #Branding #Olympics #OlympicsSponsorship #WarbyParker #DigitalMarketing

Who doesn't love a good sports analogy??? Sometimes, striking gold requires knowing when to bring in a specialist. Take the viral "Pommel Horse Guy," for example. Stephen Nedoroscik waited almost three hours to compete, which was why Team USA's men's gymnastics team broke its 16-year medal drought on Monday. In business, as in sports, there are moments when bringing in a specialist can make all the difference between being good and being great. These experts don't just bring skills—they bring a laser focus that can transform challenges into triumphs. Just as in gymnastics, where the Pommel Horse Guy shines, the right expertise in business can unlock new heights. As the article "Who is the Pommel Horse Guy?" from The Cut reveals, "Pommel Horse Guy is not just a gymnast; he's a symbol of precision and dedication." 🏅 Whether tackling a complex project or seeking to innovate, don't hesitate to bring in those who can turn the ordinary into the extraordinary. Sometimes, the gold lies in the details and the specialists who can perfect them. #Specialists #Expertise #BusinessGrowth #Innovation #BusinessStrategy #ExpertiseMatters #LeadershipInsights #FractionalCMO #GoodStory #MarketingStrategist #summerolympics #OlympicGames #Paris2024 #TeamUSA #OlympicSpirit #GoldMedal

Olympians must be able to set themselves up for success by benchmarking their results against the competition. As shown this week by the USA Men’s Gymnastics team, benchmarks allow athletes and teams to set goals and make adjustments necessary to improve. Team USA used benchmarking to add value to each individual team member’s specialty to secure the win. In what ways do you use benchmarks to set goals? What adjustments do you make based off of these metrics to help your teams succeed? Utilize insights and adapt strategies to improve success. https://lnkd.in/e-3TnfwQ #MeasurementMatters #Olympics2024

Not all Heroes wear capes. This is Stephen Nedoroscik, member of the U.S. Men's Olympic Gymnastics team, and now a viral sensation. Stephen's heroics on the Pommel Horse earned the U.S. Men's Gymnastics team their first Olympic medal (Bronze) in 16 years and there are so many beautiful lessons to take away from this moment. The key ones for me are split between the team and the individual. 1) Teams are comprised of individuals who contribute in different ways, whom all add value in their different arenas. Simply put, but not so simply executed, as members of a team, we need to embrace people's strengths and learn to harness them in order to achieve the team's goals. 2) As individuals, be confident in yourself, ensure that you are prepared and ready for your moment, and when the time comes, Pommel that horse 😂 (execute to perfection). Be proud that you are a specialist in a specific genre and shine bright within that area. I encourage all of you, if you haven't already, take some time and watch/research Stephen's moment. It is a reminder that there is greatness all around us. Lastly, Stephen is one example of heroism taking place within these Olympic Games, however, they exist in every event and every athlete competing in Paris. Even though there is so much negative around us on a daily basis, use these games as a reminder of the brilliance that exists as well. #Olympics2024 #Heroes #TeamWork

🏅🌟 Already known for her 4 gold medals from the Rio 2016 Olympics, Simone Biles’ remarkable comeback in gymnastics at the #Olympics2024, where she clinched 3 more gold medals, is a powerful reminder that sometimes taking a step back is not a setback—it’s a strategic move. After stepping back and withdrawing from several events in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, her journey shows us how reassessing and refining can turn challenges into opportunities for achieving new heights. At MVST., we resonate deeply with this narrative. Just as Biles took time to refine her gymnastics skills, we believe in the value of pausing to evaluate and innovate. For us, innovation isn’t just about moving forward at full speed; it’s about strategically pausing to reflect on our processes, gather insights, and assess user feedback and market trends. This approach allows us to refine our strategies with a fresh perspective, combining creative design with technical precision to set new benchmarks in digital product development. 💭 Have you experienced a moment when taking a step back led to a breakthrough? ⬇ Share your thoughts in the comments! #ParisOlympics #ParisOlympics2024 #DigitalInnovation #NewStandards #ProductDevelopment
