"We are hiring," "Join our team," "Here are our open positions." If this is the way you are communicating your job ads on Linkedin, you are losing candidates. Here is why Your post will only attract people actively looking for a new job. And usually, that is a minority. That's why you often receive huge volumes of applications, many that aren't a fit. You are failing to attract 3 relevant audiences. First, people who are not actively looking for a new job but could be interested in seeing what you are offering. They could consider applying or approaching you for more information if you get their attention. Second, the friends and family of potential candidates. If you get their attention, they will refer your post to those interested. Third, people who are not interested in this particular job, but might decide to visit your careers page and find another position that is a better fit. In addition, never lose sight of how people perceive you and your company. If you don't show that you care about your open position, why should the candidates? A extra minutes of your time can make a big difference in attracting talent.

It might seem like a small effort on your part, but for job seekers, this gesture can be monumental. When you receive a resume from someone who is looking for a job, it represents not just their qualifications and experience, but their hopes, ambitions, and a desire to find a place where they can contribute and grow.
