MEET BRANDON! Brandon Lamb serves as a Civil CAD Technician for Casco Civil and is just shy of a year working with the Civil team. Brandon was introduced to the CASCO Civil family through the Elevate program! Since joining, Brandon has been poised to learn as much as possible to not only help himself but to help his team. Brandon has played a part in various projects ranging from medical and educational fields to commercial, and many more to look forward to. Outside of work, Brandon often spends his team down at the Lake of the Ozarks boating and fishing with friends and family. Around the St. Louis area, Brandon loves to spend time downtown catching a baseball game or two! #meettheteam #civil #civilengineers #civilteam #CASCO #CascoCivil #STL #stlcivil #engineers

Is 1 tie rod enough for corner brackets ??? Ans ) Nooooo. reason :- As you know the corner brackets are in 135 degrees, so there are chances of rotation of the corner bracket, So to avoid the rotation of the brackets we should provide two tie rods. Holing pattern??? Probability:- 1. It May be at 125mm, 225mm, 325mm. 2. It may be at 100mm, 150mm, 250mm, 300mm. (It will help to up down the brackets by 50mm if any holing pattern miss match with adjacent it will help for better work) Is it correct????? #civil #civil3d #civil #civilconstruction #construcaocivil #construction #siteengineer #sitework #sitemanagement #siteengineer #formworks #formation

PSC BOX Girder Single Span Bridge Exciting update! I've started learning Midas Civil, a powerful structural analysis software, and I'm thrilled to have completed my first task! I'm looking forward to gaining more skills and knowledge in structural analysis and design using Midas Civil. If you're a fellow structural engineer or enthusiast, let's connect and share our experiences! #MidasCivil #StructuralAnalysis #LearningAndDevelopment #CivilEngineering #SoftwareSkills"

I have 11+ years experience in any structure repairing under water & above water(Like Waterproofing,Structural Integrity,Flooring,Membrane,Retrofitting,Coating,Grouting,PMM,Renovation,Shotcreting&Guniting etc.)
NDCT (#Height 165Mtr./Approx.-542Feet#) Structure Repairing/Strengthening Work. GUNITING in such a structure with 4nos. GUNITING machines at the same time (NDCT Height 165mtr./Approx.-542feet) is a different level of experience,as there are many adverse conditions to be faced (like strong wind speed, fear of wearing loose concrete from the structure etc). After all, when there is different level of output and different level of satisfaction, a love works in the mind, which in turn increases the love for work and at the end of the day I feel proud because I am a civil engineer. (Also existing steel treatment like Rust Removal Compound apply,Anti-Corrosive Coating, Sacrificial Anodes & Additional/New Steel Fixing and after that moisture cure urethane coating work)

Simple Bending Formula is the most crucial equation which is used by every structural civil engineer in their profession. Where, M - Moment of resistance (Bending Moment ) I - Second moment of inertia about neutral axis f - Bending stress at a point y - Distance of a point from the neutral axis E - Modulus of elasticity of the material R - Radius of curvature of neutral axis Assumptions to utilize simple bending formula 1. Material is homogeneous and linear elastic and it has the same modulus of elasticity in tension and compression. 2. Transverse sections of the beam (originally plane) remain plane and normal to the longitudinal axis of the beam. 3. Any deformation of the cross section within its own plane is negligible important things related to bending formula 1. in general Bending Moment (BM) is not constant and Shear force (SF) is not equal to zero. However experimental data indicates that the simple bending formula can be used with negligible error . 2. Axis of bending moment is the axis about which the bending moment is applied to the section. This axis passes through the centroid of the section 3. When the axis of BM is a principal axis; then the axis of BM becomes the neutral axis or axis of bending. 4. When the axis of BM is a non principle axis, then the neutral axis or axis of bending is inclined to the axis of BM

The fascinating world of Bridge Construction with so many variations and sizes but what they have in common is that they are always interesting.
Anatomy of a Bridge: 1️⃣ Pile - A concrete post driven into the ground for support. 2️⃣ Cap - Sits atop a group of piles, dispersing pressure. 3️⃣ Bent - Combination of cap and pile, acting as bridge supports. 4️⃣ Girders - Bridge arms extending between bents, supporting decking. 5️⃣ Decking - Bridge road surface resting on girders, supported by bents.
