WaterLogic wants to extend our sincerest hopes that in the wake of Hurricane Beryl your community has already begun cleaning, rebuilding, and has power services restored from the devastating effects caused by another weather event to hit the Houston area. Time and time again, we have been tested by Mother Nature, and time and time again Houston along with the Greater Houston Area has shown resiliency in the face of adversity. As always, we will come back stronger than before. WaterLogic has been communicating with your irrigation controllers during and since Hurricane Beryl roared through the area. Currently, many of the communications are not possible due to the ongoing power issues that are plaguing the area. Rest assured, we will continue to monitor your irrigation controllers during these trying times. As power is restored to the area, we will ensure that communication between the cellular technology and WaterLogic is properly established. While we are aware that there are many more important issues to address after an event such as this, WaterLogic wants to alleviate any concerns on your property when it comes to the irrigation of your landscape. Once power has been fully restored across the area and to our clientele, we will compile a list of any communication issues that are still being reported. We will have trucks sent to all locations in Houston and The Greater Houston Area that are reporting lingering issues and ensure that communication is properly restored so irrigation can resume as needed. If there is any significant information you feel is valuable to our efforts for your community, please let us know. Considering the circumstances, we understand that you may not be able to respond, but if possible, please send an email to alerts@waterlogic-texas.com and let us know that this correspondence has been received. WaterLogic, Texas stands by our communities and we will do our part to see that we come back stronger than ever following Beryl. Our office has no power, but we have been in around the Houston area helping to clean up properties, drive customer properties to get a feel for any damage that has occurred. Expecting temperatures in the high 70s to low 80s with some rain later this week. Pennsylvania: Hurricane Debby brought a few inches of much-needed rain to our dry fields. Word of the week from Paint Blue! 🔎 Ever wondered what 'Wet Sealing' is and why it is especially vital during hurricane season? The term 'Wet Sealing' refers to a process where sealants are applied to joints and seams of exterior surfaces to prevent water intrusion. This technique is commonly used on windows, doors, and other vulnerable areas of a building. 🔹Tip: Wet sealing is essential for maintaining the integrity of your buildings, especially in storm-prone areas. Investing in proper sealing techniques not only protects your property but also enhances tenant satisfaction and retention. #PaintBlue #WetSealing #WaterIntrustion #CommercialPainting #Tampa #HurricaneTips #CommercialRealEstate Matt Callero Brianne Shumway

Hurricane Milton and Helene have caused widespread devastation across the southeastern United States, leaving a trail of human suffering and economic loss in their wake. As assessments continue, the full extent of the damage to Georgia’s vast timberlands is becoming apparent. Early estimates by the Georgia Forestry Commission indicate that more than one-third of the state's timberlands have been severely impacted by Hurricane Helene, resulting in an estimated $1.25 billion in damages. The long-term implications of these hurricanes on the region's forest products industry remain uncertain, but immediate relief measures are crucial to ensure its continued survival. The forest products industry plays a vital role in the local and regional economy, providing jobs, supporting communities, and contributing to the overall well-being of the region. Governments must prioritize recovery efforts and provide immediate assistance to those most affected by these devastating storms. Additionally, stakeholders from all sectors must collaborate to develop and implement strategies that will build resilience for the future. This united approach will help ensure that our communities are better prepared to withstand future natural disasters.

This is a perfect example of why spending a little more on hurricane screens that offer UV and insect protection is crucial. These screens could have kept the patio secure, avoiding damage to impact sliders and windows. DM to discuss any South Florida projects before investing in insect or solar screens.

What are my top tips for hurricane prep? 1. Read through your insurance to know what’s covered 2. Determine if you’re going to haul out, find dockage in a marina or safe harbor or stay in the water 3. If you are staying in the water - check your lines and fenders And please guys - never try to outrun the storm. This shit is no joke.
