Happy Indigenous People’s Day to all the members of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, a vibrant community consisting of two distinctive Native American Tribes: Akimel O’odham (Pima) and Xalychidom Piipaash (Maricopa). Indigenous People’s Day is celebrated on the second Monday of October to honor the rich cultural heritage and history of Native Americans.
