🚀 Bishoy's Professional Coding Odyssey 🌟 Greetings LinkedIn community! 👋🏽 I am excited to share a pivotal segment of my ongoing coding journey, where precision and efficiency converge. 🖥️✨ In the real of embedded systems, I've recently been delving into the development of a robust Digital Input/Output (DIO) driver. This sophisticated driver encapsulates three crucial modules: DIO_Config, DIO_Private, and DIO_Program. 🛠️💻 🔗 Explore DIO Driver: https://lnkd.in/dakbkyAt The DIO_Config module serves as the architect's blueprint, meticulously defining the configurations for optimal hardware interaction. Meanwhile, DIO_Private encapsulates the inner workings, shielding the complexity and fostering a modular design approach. Finally, DIO_Program orchestrates the execution, ensuring seamless integration into broader systems. 🌐💡 This project represents not only a technical feat but also a profound journey of skill refinement. Every line of code written has been a deliberate step towards mastering the intricacies of embedded systems. I invite you to explore the intricacies of this endeavor through the provided link. Your insights and feedback are invaluable as I navigate this professional odyssey. 💬👩💻👨💻 Let's continue to push boundaries and build innovative solutions together! 🌐🔍 #EmbeddedSystems #CodingOdyssey #DigitalIO #SoftwareDevelopment #TechInnovation

💻 Automating Nested VCF Lab Startup – A Fun Challenge! 🚀 Since I managed to get a fully functional SDDC Manager running in my Nested VCF Lab, thanks to the amazing PowerShell script by William Lam, but i needed to configure autostart for the VMs on my nested hosts. Rather than just setting them to autostart, I thought it’d be more fun trying to automate the process. 🤖 I decided to go a step further and create a script that would: 1.Enable a manual fan curve and set it to 10% for my R730 2.Power on the Dell R730 via IPMI 3.Wait 30 minutes until the nested ESXi hosts are ready 4.Connect to each of the 8 ESXi hosts in the VCF environment and try to start all available VMs (excluding the vCLS, of course 😉) 5.I added a progress bar and a little error handling With a little help from ChatGPT, I was able to get it working and combine everything into one automated script. I’ve uploaded a template of the script to my GitHub to get started – feel free to check it out and give me any helpful tips:) https://lnkd.in/dfbMwB6T #automation #powershell #vcf #homelab #github

🚀 Thrilled to share my latest Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) project! 🚀 I recently built a Hospital Management System in C that efficiently manages resources and operations in a hospital. This project involved various core DSA concepts and algorithmic techniques, allowing me to tackle real-world healthcare management challenges. Key features of the system include: 📋 Resource Allocation for Doctors: Streamlining resource distribution for doctors to optimize efficiency. 🏥 Department and Medication Management: Organized medication lists and department details for easy access and updating. 🚨 Patient Urgencies: A system to prioritize and manage critical patient cases based on urgency. 🩺 Doctor and Patient Details: Comprehensive database management for doctors' and patients' records, including treated patients and their histories. 💊 Medication Management for Patients: Monitoring and updating prescribed medications for ongoing treatments. 📈 Doctor Fees Calculation: Automated calculation of fees based on treatment details. 🌡️ Patient Prediction Using Linear Regression: An advanced feature to predict the number of patients visiting the hospital based on environmental factors like temperature and humidity, leveraging a linear regression algorithm. This project allowed me to explore the intersection of data structures, algorithms, and healthcare management, enhancing my problem-solving and programming skills in C. Excited to apply these learnings to future projects! MidnightOS Excited to share my latest project: building an Operating System from scratch, called MidnightOS. It’s been a deep dive into OS fundamentals, exploring everything from BIOS calls to custom library creation. Here are some highlights: 💻 Started from the basics with BIOS and machine code, covering what happens right as a computer powers on. 🛠️ Built a bootloader to load essential components and implemented the FAT file system for efficient memory management. 🔍 Used Bochs for debugging and managed sector, track, and head data with Logical Block Addressing (LBA) and Cylinder-Head-Sector (CHS) conversions. ⚙️ Set up a cross-compiler toolchain, implemented printf() from scratch, and developed foundational libraries like stdio.h. 📜 Delved into OS components like the Global Descriptor Table (GDT), paging, interrupts (IDT/PIC), and memory management. Up next: implementing process management and multitasking! Check out my GitHub repo for the code: MidnightOS. Feedback is always welcome! #OSdevelopment #lowlevelprogramming #codingjourney #project #learning #operatingsystem
