You can't move ahead if you keep looking behind. The purpose of rear-view mirrors is to safely guide you on your journey forward, not disable you - time and again - by showing you a glimpse of all the crazy traffic behind. Everyone has a past. Everyone has made mistakes they're not proud of. Everyone's had failures. Everyone has had "friends" that were no good for them. Everyone's had unpopular opinions about things they did not fully understand before they shared their opinions publicly. But instead of letting what's behind you slow you down or outright stop you from moving ahead, learn from everything you have seen and everywhere you've been. Let the by-gones help you do better as you move ahead. If someone or something catches up again and tries to get you, move aside and let it pass. But don't stop. In life - as on the road, Be guided by a view of what's behind, but don't let it stop you from moving forward on your journey. #ThePilgrimsWisdom
