2moDon't believe this PR crap from C&C. They are a hideous company, in the business of selling insurance to productions at 4 times the state markup, then with a worker is injured on show, they are the 'employer of record' and then administer the same crap insurance and medical care to the employee that that someone else, (real employer) paid for. Then Cast & Crew does all they can to profit off the healthcare response. Cast & Crew tries to hide behind these well meaning social posts, but they are a punitive, greedy and dishonest company, interested only in profit. I am watching three friends of mine suffer, each injured on a show for Amazon Studios that Cast & Crew ran payroll for. Did you know that when you are injured on a movie, you can't use your MPI insurance? Cast & Crew medical responses to injured workers is crap and so much less quality than the insurance you are paying into with each payroll check that Cast & Crew processes. These payroll companies have too much power. They can't be allowed to act as employer of record and at the same time manage the workers compensation insurance they sell to someone else for the same employee. This is how they make their money. Off of our healthcare. Screw this company.
